Finished Stroller Restoration
The baby buggy restoration is finally complete! We did some light cleaning on the bassinet and stroller handle which removed a lot of the grime. Some of the fabric and vinyl parts show some age but it looks clean and ready to take for a spin!
We brought it to the baby shower to show it off and it was a hit. The shiny chrome and elaborate fabrics brought all the guests right over to check it out. You don’t see elegant prams like this very often and for the guests with memories of an old pram, it was very nostalgic.
Speaking of nostalgia, this was the first time Nonna got to see her old stroller since we dug it out of her basement and she loved it! She started rolling it back and forth telling old stories of her walking the neighborhood with her beautiful Italian stroller.
It remains to be seen if the vintage stroller will be used to stroll the neighborhood still but there is no denying it photographs well!
